Invisalign aligners are made of smooth, BPA-free plastic that is virtually invisible when worn. The aligners are removable, making brushing and flossing much easier for patients. They fit comfortably over your teeth and are easily customized to produce your ideal smile. Unlike traditional braces, these aligners are removable, making eating, brushing, and flossing much easier. They are worn for about two weeks at a time, and each aligner shifts your teeth closer to their ideal position.

Is Invisalign the Right Treatment For Me?

If you’re an adult with crooked teeth or mild to moderate malocclusion, Invisalign could be the perfect choice for you. Invisalign treatment can correct crooked teeth, widely spaced teeth, overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites. It can also address some bite issues, including TMJ disorder.

Patients can get started with Invisalign by visiting our dentist for a consultation. During the consultation, the dentist will examine the patient’s teeth to determine if they are healthy enough for treatment. If they are, the dentist will be able to provide the patient with a cost estimate.

Invisalign Treatment Process

Typically, Invisalign treatment consists of a series of aligners that you switch out about every two weeks. Each new aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. They are custom-fit to the patient’s teeth and are manufactured using 3D technology. The aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Most people won’t notice you’re going through treatment.

After you receive your first set of Invisalign aligners, it’s important to wear them as much as possible. Your aligners should generally be worn at least 22 hours per day, only taking the aligners out to eat, drink, brush and floss. It’s normal for teeth to feel slightly uncomfortable or sensitive when you first begin wearing the aligners. This is a sign that the aligners are shifting your teeth into their correct positions.

Invisalign Financing Options

Many patients have questions about their payment options. Fortunately, most dentists provide flexible financing options. You may be able to spread out the payments of your procedure over several months or pay in full at a discounted rate. We can discuss these options with you.
